How to do it

Dumbbell Tate press
Dumbbell triceps extension on a bench where the elbows flare out in a controlled way and the weights come close to the chest before extending.
Form. Use little weight while learning, stabilize your shoulders against the bench and extend your elbows without losing control of the dumbbells.
Common mistake. Letting the dumbbells fall toward the chest, flaring the shoulders without control, using momentum, or locking the elbows violently.
