Terms of use

Version of 28 October 2026

These terms govern the use of GoForIt (goforit.day, the app for iPhone, Apple Watch and Android and the web panel) and of Pedalytics (pedalytics.bike and its app), which share one account and one controller. By creating an account or going on using it you accept them. They are written to be understood; if something is unclear, write to {email}.

What the service is

GoForIt is a personal tool for tracking and planning: it gathers what you log and what your devices read (sleep, activity, workouts, food, measurements) and computes indicators such as the day's readiness, the training load or the sets per muscle. Pedalytics does the same for the bike: rides, garage, wear and maintenance. It also lets a coach or nutritionist send you a plan and, if you switch it on, follow your day to day.

The service is provided by Daniel Ortega (Spain). Today it is free and in a trial period (beta): it may change, have errors and be unavailable at times. When paid subscriptions exist (Plus and Pro), their conditions will be on the purchase screen and in the «Subscriptions and payments» section of these terms.

Your account and your age

  • You must be 16 or over. If we find out an account belongs to someone younger, we will close it and delete its data.
  • An account belongs to one person. You are responsible for what is done with it and for keeping your password secret; if you think somebody is using it, change it and tell us.
  • The data you enter must be yours or you must have permission to enter it (for example, a client's data in professional mode).
  • You can delete your account at any time from the app or the web; deleting it removes your data in GoForIt and in Pedalytics (see the privacy policy).

Not medical advice

The numbers and texts the service shows you (readiness, load, calorie or macronutrient targets, the day's proposals, the signals for a professional, the wear of a part) are computed from your own data and are guidance to train, rest and eat better. They are not a diagnosis, a treatment or medical advice, and they do not replace a doctor, a physiotherapist or a dietitian.

If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, take medication or notice something odd (chest pain, dizziness, a pulse that does not add up), check with a health professional before following a suggestion from the app. In an emergency, call 112.

Acceptable use

It is not allowed to:

  • Use the service for anything illegal, to harm somebody or to impersonate another person.
  • Access another account's data, probe or attack the infrastructure, bypass usage limits or extract data automatically (scraping) outside the channels we offer (your export and your personal token).
  • Copy, resell or redistribute the catalogue (exercises, videos, foods, bikes and components) outside the service.
  • Enter offensive content or other people's data without their permission, including the messages and photos of the follow-up with a professional.

If an account breaks these rules we may limit or close it, with notice unless the harm is immediate. You can always ask for a copy of your data.

Your data, the plans and our software

  • Your data is yours. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service, as the privacy policy describes, and you can take it with you (export) or delete it at any time.
  • A plan, a routine or a meal plan a professional creates is their content: by sending it they license you to use it for your personal training, not to redistribute it. What you create (routines, recipes, notes) is yours.
  • The software, the computations, the design and the GoForIt and Pedalytics brands are ours or our licensors'. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the apps and the web.
  • Part of the catalogue comes from third parties with their own licences: foods from Open Food Facts (ODbL licence, with its credits page) and from the USDA database (public domain), and the exercise videos licensed to us. Those licences prevail over these terms for that content.

Apple Health, Health Connect, Strava and other sources

When you connect a source (Apple Health, Health Connect, Strava, Google Health, a FIT file or a watch or band provider) you also accept its conditions. We only read what you authorise and you can disconnect it at any time from the app or from the source itself.

Strava only allows data that comes from Strava to be shown to you. That is why a Strava ride reaches your professional, the server for your AI and «Send to your AI» reduced to the minimum (the sport, when it was, how long it lasted, the effort you said and the load GoForIt computes), never with its numbers. If a provider changes its conditions we may limit or withdraw that connection; we will tell you in the app.

Professional mode: what we ask of you

If you switch on professional mode (coach, nutritionist or another exercise or health professional) and put your clients' data in the panel, you are responsible for that data before your clients and before the law: you undertake to have a lawful basis to process it, to tell them you use GoForIt, to enter only what is needed and to answer their rights requests. GoForIt is your processor under the terms of the next section.

  • The content of your plans (loads, diets, supplements, advice) is yours and your professional responsibility; GoForIt is the tool, not the professional, and does not review its suitability.
  • What a client shares with you in the follow-up (reports, photos, measurements) may only be used to attend to them; do not copy it elsewhere or share it without their permission.
  • You must comply with the rules of your profession (registration, qualifications, advertising) and not present the service as a medical treatment.

Data-processing terms for professionals (GDPR, art. 28)

This section is the processing agreement between you, the professional (controller of your clients' data), and Daniel Ortega (processor), and applies to the data of your clients that you enter or receive through GoForIt.

  • Subject matter, nature and purpose: hosting and processing your clients' data (identification and contact, plans and, if the client switches it on, their daily reports, photos, measurements, activity and nutrition) so that you can provide your service through the panel and the app. Duration: while your professional mode is on and, for each client, while their record exists.
  • Instructions: we process the data only to provide you the service and according to these terms and the privacy policy, never for our own purposes. If we believe an instruction of yours infringes the law, we will tell you.
  • Confidentiality: only the staff strictly needed access the data, bound by confidentiality. We do not sell or disclose the data.
  • Security: encryption in transit, per-account access rules in the database, encryption of the sources' credentials, daily backups and access logging. We will notify you without undue delay, and in any case within 48 hours of learning of it, of any breach affecting your clients' data, with what we know so that you can meet your obligations.
  • Sub-processors: Supabase (database and authentication), DigitalOcean (API server), Cloudflare (network), Vercel (web), Mailgun and Resend (email), RevenueCat and Stripe (payments) and, when active, Sentry (errors). The full, current list with each one's country is in the privacy policy; we will give 30 days' notice of a change and you may object by cancelling professional mode.
  • Help with rights: the app and the panel let you view, correct, export and delete a client's data. If a client writes to us directly, we will pass it on to you unless the law obliges us to answer ourselves.
  • End of the processing: when you close a client's record or your professional mode, we delete the client data that existed only because of your instruction, except what we must keep by law. What the client logs in their own GoForIt account remains theirs.
  • Information and audit: we will provide the information needed to demonstrate compliance with these obligations and, with reasonable notice and at your cost, allow an audit limited to what concerns you.

Subscriptions and payments

Today the service is free. When the Plus and Pro subscriptions open, the price, the duration, the automatic renewal and how to cancel will be shown before you confirm the purchase, which is made through Apple, Google or Stripe (on the web): they charge, issue the receipt and handle cancellation and refunds under their own rules. A subscription renews by itself until you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the period.

If you subscribe on the web as a consumer you have 14 days to withdraw. By asking for the service to start at once you accept that, once it starts being provided, you lose the right of withdrawal for that period. Cancelling never deletes your data: you keep the free tier.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running at all times, but we do not guarantee that it is available without interruption or free of errors. We may change, add or withdraw features; if a change removes something important or affects a paid subscription, we will give reasonable notice in the app or by email, and you will be able to export your data and leave.

Liability

You use the service at your own responsibility, above all in what you decide to do with your training, your rest or your food from the numbers it shows you. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses nor for those arising from wrong data that reaches us from a device or an external source, and our total liability for the service is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months (nothing, while it is free). None of this limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer or our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

Leaving and account closure

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may close an account if it breaches these terms or if the service stops being provided; in that case we will give notice unless the abuse is serious, and you will be able to export your data first.

Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may go to the courts of your home. The European Union offers an online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. First of all, write to support@goforit.day: almost everything is solved by talking.

Changes to these terms

Each version carries its date. If we change something relevant we will ask you again in the app or on the web before you go on, and the version you accepted is recorded in your account. Going on using the service after a minor change means accepting it.
