How to do it

V-up: exercise position

V-up

Core exercise in which arms and legs rise at once from the floor until they meet over the hips, forming a V.

Form. Lie with your arms and legs extended, raise your trunk and legs together trying to touch your feet and lower slowly without dropping your heels or your back.

Common mistake. Pulling on the neck, bending the knees a lot to compensate, falling to the floor suddenly, or arching the lower back on the way down.
