How to do it

Decline elbow plank: exercise position

Decline elbow plank

Forearm plank with feet on a raised surface that increases the demand on the abs and shoulders.

Form. Form a long line from shoulders to ankles, push the floor away with your forearms and breathe without letting the pelvis drop.

Common mistake. Arching the lower back, raising the hips too high, or holding your breath.

Rectus abdominis · Bodyweight, Box or step

The muscles listed are an editorial reference, not a measurement. Adjust the range and the load to what feels comfortable.
