How to do it

Chest-supported machine row: exercise position

Chest-supported machine row

Guided row with the chest supported to work the lats and mid back without lower-back momentum.

Form. Adjust the seat, keep your chest on the pad and bring your elbows back without raising your shoulders.

Common mistake. Lifting the chest off the pad, shrugging the neck, or slamming the machine stop.
