How to do it

Bent-over dumbbell row
Bilateral dumbbell row from a hip hinge that combines the lats, mid back and lower-back control.
Form. Send your hips back, create a long spine and guide your elbows toward your hips without using a torso jerk.
Common mistake. Rounding the back, shrugging the shoulders, turning it into a swing, or lifting the dumbbells toward the neck.
