How to do it

Overhead dumbbell walking lunge
Chained lunges holding dumbbells overhead, combining unilateral leg strength with shoulder and trunk stability.
Form. Use a light load, keep your arms steady over your shoulders and take steps you can brake before moving on to the next side.
Common mistake. Arching the back, dropping the elbows, crossing the steps, losing the front knee, or walking faster than control allows.
