How to do it

Shoulder controlled articular rotation
Slow, maximal circle of the arm controlling the shoulder through its full range, without compensating with the trunk.
Form. Brace your abs and glutes, raise your arm in front up overhead, rotate it and lower it behind drawing the biggest circle possible without the trunk moving; repeat slowly and switch sides.
Common mistake. Going fast, arching the back to gain range, or forcing painful areas.
