How to do it

Dumbbell reverse step-up
Step-up with dumbbells that adds a stepping-back phase to challenge unilateral balance, quads and glutes.
Form. Choose a low height, step up with the whole supporting foot and control the step back without letting the free leg drop to the floor.
Common mistake. Pushing off with the bottom foot, using an unstable step, leaning the trunk, or letting the supporting knee drop inward.
