How to do it

Depth jump: exercise position

Depth jump

Plyometric drill focused on absorbing and reusing force after stepping off a low box.

Form. Step off a safe height, land softly with your whole foot and stabilize your knee and hip before chaining the next jump.

Common mistake. Choosing too much height, landing stiff, or letting the knees collapse inward.

Quadriceps, Gluteus maximus · Box or step

The muscles listed are an editorial reference, not a measurement. Adjust the range and the load to what feels comfortable.
