How to do it

Single-leg glute bridge with dumbbell press: exercise position

Single-leg glute bridge with dumbbell press

Advanced combination of a single-leg bridge and a dumbbell chest press that challenges the glutes, pecs and lumbopelvic control at once.

Form. Master the single-leg bridge and the press separately first; raise your hips on one leg, fix the pelvis and ribs and press the dumbbells without losing the height of the bridge.

Common mistake. Using heavy loads, rotating the pelvis, arching the lower back, letting the dumbbells fall toward the shoulders, or trying to hold the bridge once control is gone.
