How to do it

Standing dumbbell external rotation: exercise position

Standing dumbbell external rotation

Standing external rotation of the shoulders with the elbows tucked against the body, to strengthen the rotator cuff.

Form. With very light dumbbells and your elbows at 90 degrees tucked into your sides, open your forearms outward without separating the elbows and return slowly.

Common mistake. Separating the elbows from the body, using heavy loads, compensating with the back, or moving fast.
